The licence
A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Fyre Web Scrapper on up to three machines. The licence does not expire. It covers commercial use — you may use extracted data in your own business or on behalf of clients.
You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute or repackage the software itself, and you may not remove or circumvent the licence mechanism. Sharing a key beyond your three activations is what the activation limit exists to prevent.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for what you extract and what you do with it. That responsibility does not transfer to us because the collection happened through our tool.
- Follow the law in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of the site you are collecting from.
- Honour a site's terms of service where you have accepted them.
- Do not use Fyre to collect personal data without a lawful basis for doing so.
- Do not use it to overwhelm a site — the pacing defaults exist for a reason, and raising them is your call to justify.
- Do not use it to bypass authentication or paywalls you do not have legitimate access to.
- Do not use it for harassment, stalking, or building profiles of private individuals.
What we provide
We provide the software as it is, and we work to keep it functioning against the websites people actually use. We cannot guarantee that any particular website will remain extractable — sites change, and some of them change specifically to prevent this. A site becoming harder to extract is not a defect in the software.
Updates are included for as long as the product exists. If we ever discontinue Fyre, the extension will continue to function locally on activated machines, and we will publish a final build that does not require licence validation.
Cloud runs
Scheduled runs are subject to a monthly page allowance stated at purchase and to fair-use limits. We may pause a run that is causing harm to a third-party site or to our infrastructure, and we will tell you why.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from data you collected, decisions you made using it, or action taken against you by a website operator.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will email licence holders and publish the change with a new effective date. Continuing to use Fyre after that date means you accept the revision. If you do not, the refund policy still applies within its window.
