The free extension

A clean install contacts the pages you point it at. It never contacts a Fyre server. Its stored device state uses the constant local-device and the name “This browser”, alongside an install date. No unique device identifier is generated.

Fyre Pro licence checks

Pro sends a licence key and a device identifier to api.fyretool.netlify.app when the side panel opens. The identifier is needed to count the three devices covered by your licence.

The identifier is created at activation and removed on deactivation or failed activation. Licence checks do not include page content, scraped data, browsing history or usage statistics.

Network protections

The extension’s network-capable scripts include a guard for fetch, XMLHttpRequest, WebSocket and sendBeacon. The licence host is matched against an exact allow list and analytics and vendor hosts are blocked. Automated checks cover the guard and consistency of the lists.

Fetching the pages you choose to extract is part of the tool’s operation. No extraction is uploaded to Fyre.

Your local data

Scraped rows, sitemaps and presets are stored in your browser. Keep the last 100, 500 or 1,000 extractions. Settings → Clear all data removes the stored data.

Export what you need before uninstalling. Uninstalling removes local extension data.

What runs on your machine

All ten extraction tools, selector generation and sitemap parsing run locally. Sora and Source Sans 3 fonts are bundled inside the extension.

Instagram Scraper uses the Instagram tab you are already signed into. Fyre does not request or store your password.

Browser permissions

The extension uses browser permissions to read selected pages, keep local data, export files, manage extraction tabs and display the side panel.

• Page access and scripting: read the pages you point it at.
• Storage: keep sitemaps, presets and extraction history locally.
• Downloads and clipboard: save your results and images.
• Tabs and navigation: coordinate multi-tab extraction and page loading.
• Side panel and notifications: show the interface and run-complete alerts.
• Cookies are optional, requested only when you use Load authenticated session.

This website and support

This website does not include analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts are served locally. External links, including the Chrome Web Store, take you to services with their own privacy practices.
